I bought my wedding dress from Helene's at a sample sale, and had it altered there as well. Shelly was very helpful when looking for the style of dress I wanted, within my budget. Their seamstress is pretty good too. Overall I was quite satisfied with my dress, the service, and the quality (and speed!) of the alterations.

I have been going to J. Max mechanical exclusively for over 25 years. When I purchased a new Civic in 2006, I skipped the dealership's mechanical section and stayed with J. Max. I'm a woman and all the staff are respectful. They don't talk down to me or over my head. You won't find a flashy waiting room, just honest work at a fair price and good employees comfortable in their work environment. And yes, my '06 Civic is still running well.

I love how the perogies are homemade and do not use any fake ingredients like powdered cheese and instant potatoe mix etc., I also love the friendly service because as soon as I walk through there doors I am greeted with a smile, and there prices may be higher than the rest but that's because they use only real ingredients, so yes it is worth it, honestly, there is no competition when Karen's home cooking is around!

This is a place where you can get good food, and at a reasonable price. Small and cozy, the waitresses take care in providing you with what you need, and they serve excellent fish. About the only complaint is that they were not using actual wasabi, but that is hard to get in Winnipeg, so it's understandable. Another point is that they do not have a house sauce, which is one of the things that help diferentiate between different sushi places. I would go here again and again.

Love! Well curated selection of books/gifts for every age. Informed staff. Tall Grass Prairie Cafe is fresh and delicious, my daughter and I especially love their walk up deli counter, we go there to get a pastry for her & a coffee for myself (we always buy a loaf of fresh bread when we are there as well!) We never leave without checking out their area with books and learning toys for kids upstairs. Complete with a play area and a basket of books for the kids to read. Great job McNally!

I walked in Queen nails and to be warmly greeted by an older lady who was the sweetest thing on earth. I was promptly seated and serviced.
The man who did my nails was very friendly to me and knew how to do his job well and confidently. Get this, my nails took about a half an hour to finish at most and are the most beautifully done, strong, even, clear nails I have ever got. (and I have been through oodles of nail techs) Compared to some places I have been to where they took 2-3 hours and they still lift or chip etc. The environment was clean and everyone looked happy and content.
It was such a nice experience for a change. I was so happy after this.
I am not sure about the other comments and not so good experiences but I thought I would give this place a shot and now will definitely be giving them my business and letting others know.
P.S. Can't beat the price 30 bucks (before tax), I got a pink sparkly tip, no extra charge for colored tips!

I dealt with a gentleman by the name of Octavio ( I apologize if I spelled that incorrectly!) Wednesday evening at Rogers Polo Park. I was upgrading my cell and he was extremely helpful and very courteous! I was going in expecting to pay a lot more than what I did. He went out of his way to offer a plan to benefit me and to actually save me money when purchasing my new phone. There are not many companies that will do that for a customer nowadays. I've been a patient at this office for over 15 years and just have to say how much I appreciate these dentists. My husband who was not a patient before but is certainly going back after such great care, was in extreme pain. Not only did they accommodate my husband on short notice- both dr Kmet & dr Morris actually worked through their lunch to fit him in. I would absolutely recommend any of the dentists to my friends & family.

Great store and pharmacy! Friendly staff and classic location, very professional pharmacy that takes their time to explain medication and side effects. They care more about your safety than your money, learned my lesson going to pharmacies located in grocery stores the hard way. Sorry but in my opinion I trust a store built on a pharmacy than a store having a pharmacy as a convenience.

The staff there are awesome, the place is always clean, they will go out of there way to help you,when you need help. I'm there almost everyday,to meet with friends, have a coffee or two,have breakfast or lunch. The muffins/donuts are always fresh ( I love the blueberry muffins). I live about 15-20 minutes away, there are Tims closer, to where I live, but I prefer going to this Tims, Its the Best
