I found this gem through Expedia. Even though it's uptown it's in the nice Yonge-Sheppard corridor,with easy access to downtown via the subway or any suburban destination via the Highway 401. Toronto is notorious for pricey hotels,so being able to find one at around a hundred bucks a night works for me. It's located in a nice neighborhood,with lots of good shopping and dining nearby. One of the criteria, I judge a hotel by besides cleanliness is the bed and linens. All were first rate. I'd highly recommend Maryam Hotel & Suites.

The Mayfair is a wonderful fitness, tennis, squash, and swimming club. The staff is impressive, from the front desk, to maintenance, to fitness coaches, and instructors -- professional and helpful. Since going there, Ive lost 16 pounds while quitting smoking. Both my body and my attitude have undergone profound, positive changes. I also recommend the spa and yoga studio downstairs.

This is a great destination for both indoor and outdoor decoration. They have stuff I have never seen elsewhere. The service is also very courteous, no pressure.

I made a reservation but had to change to Richmond Hill location due to time. Was dropped off at Hwy 7/Leslie. It was 5:30pm and they close at 6pm. Provided my reservation information to Rodney. No record of reservation and that location did not provide unlimited mileage to the US. My phone was almost dead. I needed a car as we were leaving that night. Amazingly, Rodney made a call and arranged for another company to pick me up from there and he even waited after 6pm. Thank you Rodney.
