I am new to SFs (3 yrs). Man Ling Restaurant is the only Chinese restaurant (except for 1 in Brockville) that I eat at, for a number of reasons: First all of their food is MSG-free, is fabulous and always fresh (nothing heated up from 2 hours ago). The best egg rolls ever and my favourite is beef and green peppers. I have eaten there over 25 times and it's always perfect. Hats off to Man Ling. I love this place. Best clubs in Ottawa. The atmosphere is a bit stale (sort of a dark old sports bar type of feel), and their prices are a bit on the high side, but their food is so darn good. My coworker and I split a Club platter (with extra garlic dressing) 2-3 times / month. Owners are very friendly! I was no a fan of their pizza, but that's just my personal taste. Lire plus

My wife and i came here for a night out. We had been recomended the Brew Table by the concierge at the Holiday Inn down the street. We had the steak frites and it was incredible. Cooked perfectly and the service was the best i have ever recieved anywhere. An amazing dining experience all around from appetizer to dessert. My husband and I went for lunch following the Carleton Place Triathlon. My husband got a free meal with his tri registration. He had a spicy chicken wrap with cold soup. He loved it. I had the veggie smash burger with sweet potato fries. It was the best veggie burger I've ever had. It came home made mustard, relish and ketchup on the side (all were amazing). We have visited many Italian reataurants throughout Ontario from Brockville to Niagara Falls, Oshawa to North Bay and Avanti's in Oshawa is number one. Not because we live here, because of the food, the service, the friendly atmosphere and the cleanliness of this establishment. Their Fusilli in Bianco is our favorite. We have dined there many times before Oshawa Generals Hockey games and Shows at the newly renovated Regent Theatre. And we are so proud to mention Avanti's everywhere we go.
