Last friday it was games night at our place, turns out we didnt have any board games, so we went to Toys R Us, these guys have walls of board games, we picked up 3 games. Settlers of Catan, Risk & Monopoly, needless to say we are now the games capital of our friends. I have been practicing at Soul since they first opened in Dec 2011 and I must say it is one of the most gorgeous studios in Calgary. I have been practicing and teaching in Calgary for the last few years and have been so happy to find Soul Hot Yoga as it is so close to home in South Calgary (McKenzie). Aside from the gorgeous decor, imppecable cleanliness, cooling face cloths after class and welcoming front desk staff, the CLASSES are awesome! Every class is different and wherever you are in life, you can find a class suited to your level/preference all in one day. You learn something new each class and they offer warm AND hot classes which alot of yogis really enjoy. Try this studio - you will love it!

I witnessed a customer have a temper tantrum over a B12 injection. I felt so terrible! In all the covid term oil there’s still selfish people out there who go out of their way to be miserable to others. The woman demanded he stop the life saving covid injections so she could have her B12 injection. Unbelievable! She actually said “so covid takes presidence over B12?” He offered her a 6pm appointment too, but she wanted hers NOW! Rude! Good job pharmacy staff! Don’t let these people get to you!

This was our first time at Swiss Chalet. The restaurant was quite busy for 4PM Sunday, but not packed. The atmosphere was very pleasant.
The waitress seemed to be in a hurry. Looks like they were short staffed. She messed up our drinks and the cook never brought us the buns we were supposed to get with our meal. My tea cup had something dried up on it (looked like brown sugar), which I had to scrape off with my fingers :)))) I didn't bother asking to get a new one.
The food was very tasty, although the dessert (sundae) was far too sweet .
Overall a nice little lower-middle class restaurant with good atmosphere.
The service could be better though.
