I appreciate very much Bacchus Bistro as it is , for me, the only decent dinning in Langley. Unfortunatly, living in Langley , I have been At Bacchus may be too often and find the menu very static. A great restaurant with a really cosy, warm atmosphere. Were there during our honeymoon and the staff was really pleasant. The food was very good, if a bit pricey. Tried one of the BC wines and was surprised by how good it was. Service could have been more attentive but was sincere and friendly when we got it. Would recommend you try it if only for the atmosphere and the food Lire plus

Not my typical kind of bar. Here for a work party. Was ready to finish up my last (full) beer when the bottom of the cup completely fell off as I went to take my first sip. The Manager was extremely gracious and refunded my entire entre (27 dollars), and 3 beers. Obviously I’m happy about the freeness, being soaked sucked, but service like that is how you keep returning customers. Great attitude towards the whole thing. Very kind staff. Lire plus

Unassuming location adds to the charm. After finding out about Chefs Kebab I have been back over the past year probably 15 times; so this review is not from a single visit... it is ALWAYS VERY GOOD! The staff do a great job and it is a pleasure dropping in for lunch or dinner. I moved to Surrey 2 years ago and just couldn't find any restaurant that served good old fashion home cooked greasy spoon diner fare. I spotted Round-Up Cafe on a drive by and decided to pull over and try it out. They refurbished the chairs to a fabulous sparkly silver. It is cozy and comfy and very clean and the owners are extremely friendly. I ordered a soup for my toddler and a special for myself. I was surprised the special came with a soup and a desert which was nice for $12. Coffee is $2.10 and they only charge once and are excellent with refills. Food was 'just like grandma used to make' very tasty. Soup was a bit to peppery for my taste buds. My main was excellent but if you don't want gravy, you need to order it on the side or they pour it on. Coffee was excellent. My son loved the vanilla pudding - another unexpected surprise. The restaurant was packed at lunch on a weekday. This is a restaurant I would recommend Grandad to visit. Nice old fashion 1940s diner feel with good home cooking. Lire plus

Be extremely cautious with these restaurants in their billing. I have found the stores to 1)charge more than the price posted in the store 2)round up on non-cash sales. Rounding up can only be done in Canda with CASH payment. Not with debit or credit. Ask for FRESH PATTY as the patties are cooked in a bunch and sit in a tray until served. This causes them to be cold and dry when served to you Lire plus
