I had lunch here with a friend on a quiet Tuesday.
Stokes-by-the-Bay rarely seems to be busy at lunch time, so hopefully they make their money with the supper and evening crowd ?
Anyway, there were a few diners there – may 3 or 4 other groups in a fairly large dining area - enough people so you don’t think you’re the only ones there !
With the small lunch crowd, our waitress was not exactly hard-pressed, but she gave us good, friendly service.
I had the soup of the day (cream of asparagus) and the “pulled pork sliders” – 3 small hamburger buns filled with pulled pork in BBQ sauce. It was all good. I particularly like the sliders. My friend had the chipotle burger with fries and gravy. He likes hot food and was happy with the small pile of jalapeno slices on top of the fixings.
I’ve been to Stokes-by-the-Bay many times over the years. I can’t say that I’ve ever had a meal that sticks in my memory as a really really special dining experience, but on the other hand I don’t recall ever being disappointed either.
Cost for the two of us was $30.51 before gratuity.
Stokes-by-the-Bay is a good place to get a reliable, reasonably priced lunch with consistently good service. I’ll go back any time.

I appreciate the professional yet friendly care I received, as all my questions and concerns were addressed with knowledge and kindness.
I would recommend Tender Touch Orthotics over and over again to everyone who is in need of orthotics, shoe adjustments, and advice.

We eat here all the time!
There is no other place in town that makes you feel so comfortable. The staff go out of their way to get to know you.
The ribs could probably win at rib fest in London if they entered, and the beer battered Halibut is delicious!

The Dawghouse is an awesome place to be. The wait staff are long-timers and know everyone. It’s a regular Cheers! So many regulars’ daily... including me. Prices are great the best dish is their Fireside Chicken dinner... their BLT. has 1/2 lb of bacon it in and their wings are always cooked to perfection. Atmosphere is so good. Cindy and Bill Street great people they make you feel like one of the family. Live music almost every Friday.... great gang!!

Leany provides excellent customer service and is very knowledgeable in his field. Wouldn't shop elsewhere for my prescription eyewear. I highly recommend Theodore and Pringle Opticians. I have always taken advantage of their specials.

After years of eating at Under the Volcano we had another great meal once again. The margaritas are always good,as well as the chips and salsa before the meal. I tend to stick with the spicy foods whereas my wife prefers it relatively mild. My wife had the beef burrito and I the blackened chicken chimichanga (made extra hot). The desserts are fantastic but my favorite has to be the deep fried ice cream. The new location is still being settled into it seems but I'm looking forward to seeing it all finished.

His team always went out of their way to make us comfortable and relaxed. After her treatment, she was so happy that Dr.W made her smile beautiful “ I can show everyone my beautiful teeth now mommy” and she also indicated that she was not scared of the dentist anymore. Her treatment was worth absolutely every penny. Not only did he restore her beautiful smile, Dr. W also restored some trust in the dentist for my daughter’s future. I would highly recommend Dr. W to anyone!
