Hai nam chicken and stir fry cod with gai lan were our dinner combo entree selections we decided to go with. Both very good. Many a la carte options too. This is my favorite restaurant in Vancouver! My family are all vegetarian and we have tried all of the other restaurants in town, this one is by far the best. They have a relaxed, casual dining experience, kid friendly. I recommend trying The Harvest, an always changing creation made from local produce! There can sometimes be a long line in the evening, but if you come before 6 or after 8 it's a reasonable wait. No reservations, and no good place to wait for a table :( Lire plus

This little restaurant opened about a year or so ago and is now officially our favourite Japanese restaurant in the neighbourhood. The sushi is nothing short of amazing. An incredible selection of original roll creations is augmented by all of the favourites. What's best is they use wild salmon for their creations and obviously keep abreast of what is fresh at the market judging by their ever-changing special board. I had some wild hamachi sashimi there that just about made me swoon it was so amazing. The noodle soup is very flavourful as well and the only teeniest suggestion I could make would be to remove the skin from the chicken before plopping it into the soup. To top off your meal the tempura bananas and ice cream is not to be missed. The restaurant itself is what you would expect decor-wise but a neat and kitschy touch they include is customer testimonials posted all around the restaurant. The location in the heart of Main and the service also can't be beat. Truly some of the best sushi I've ever eaten. Lire plus

I typically just go for pho or noodle/rice dish at a Vietnamese restaurant. I came here with a party of 8 and was pleasantly surprised of other dinner options available. We preordered several dishes including crab, oxtail, lamb popsicles, braised fatty pork with eggs in clay pot. We started with a shredded chicken salad, spring roll and shrimp rolls and in chit.
