I have been frequenting this store for a number of years and love the ever changing variety of goods they carry. I like that they use where possible suppliers and supplies that are local or from other parts of Canada. I have a sofa from them which is perfect. I have a chair I purchased from them and they covered for me. Excellent work in matching the upholstery design, making extra cushions. Whole Foods opened their first location at Park Royal and I eagerly awaited their arrival at Cambie Street when i saw the sign go up that they were locating their. Little did I realize that this meant the demise of my favourite Capers location just up the street at 16th and Cambie. For that reason it has taken me a long time to warm to this store. This store does not have the same vibe as the West van store but I think that is partly due to the space they have to work with. That said, they carry the best selection of organic and natural and special diet products in Vancouver. The prices are reasonable, if not a little steep at times but they often have specials that take the bite out of the grocery bill a little. They are the store to buy organic dairy products as the organic milk is the cheapest in town on a daily basis. The meat department is a full service butcher and everything is clean and fresh looking...that said the meat can tend to be a bit pricey. The bakery is good and the ready to go foods are always yummy. All in all this is a pretty good store and great for those of us who try to maximize the organic foods that we eat. Lire plus

I had problems with a toilet that kept running - I tried to fix it myself, but nothing I did was working. The plumber from Pure Plumbing came in and had it fixed in just a hour - he had the toilet fixed and his rates were very fair. Would be glad to recommend them to anyone, very good services. Going along Broadway I have noticed the restaurant many times and finally decided to drop in for brunch to give it a go. We sat outside, we didn't mind waiting for a table there. Made to order sandwiches on wonderful chewy bread. We tried the pork and the fish varieties accompanied by our side choices of pickled vegetables and green salad. All tasted fresh and tasty and unique blend. The brewed unsweetened iced tea was a nice finish. The restaurant has this wooden, rustic open feel. They use the NoWait program so you can see how many tables are ahead of you and they text you when your table is ready so you can stroll in the neighbourhood. The restaurant is narrow and the tables are small. It has a cool vibe. Seating at the bar is available too. The food is wonderful and so tasty. We had the braised beef special in a wonderful green sauce, the beef cheek, chicken, pork, and tuna tacos and the lamb shoulder dish. No room for dessert. Well worth the wait. Lire plus
