This is by far our favourite Chinese restaurant in Winnipeg! The food is such high quality and the staff are always nice. We will only go to Singyun now! We went for dinner at Olympia diner the other day, and all I can say is WOW! the calamari is the best I have ever had, and I don't know what they do to their tazitki sauce but I could eat it by the spoonful! If you are looking for good and affordable food, you should visit this place. All the staff are very approachable and friendly. Their BBQ Duck soup with Egg or with Rice noodle is the best in Winnipeg!! It is far better in Many Chinese Restaurants we had tried. The portion is very big and it will make you full. I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken fingers!! I ordered a medium size platter and ended up taking half of it home for lunch the next day. I agree with previous posters; the dipping sauce is AMAZING. I've never tasted anything quite like it! Sure, the décor is a bit strange, but who cares when the food is this quick, hot and tasty. We strolled into Red Top for a quick lunch. Before I start anything else I must let you know not to get a soft drink unless you like getting ripped off. Why do I say this, because you get a small glass plus there are no free refills :O . Now to continue. We each had water because of the above and we ordered a cheezy burger and a top burger both with fries. The meal quickly came since we beat out the lunch rush. The meals both were well proportioned and for the price it was very well worth it. The whole meal cost us under 13 dollars. As another side note, they have the coolest hand dryers! Lire plus

The food is great and always great. It never waivers. But there are some flaws. Tonight, the soup was not even lukewarm; it was cool. When I sent it back, it was returned to me just as cool as the first time. Soup needs to be HOT. The service is dicey. One visit, you couldn't ask for more.
