I thought that the staff was great, the food was delicious, the wait was not long at all, and the atmosphere was really fun! They had a great menu (much of their ingredients were either local or home-made) and their patio seats have one of the best views of the beach I've ever seen. The place itself was very clean and cozy. I would definitely give it 5 stars out of 5 and I will definitely be returning to try out other menu options. Really easy to find as it is just across from the pier. One of the highlights of my trip to the beach and a must try for anybody looking for an awesome place to eat in White Rock. :) Lire plus

Last Month I discovered this Restraint and went in for Dinner, To my surprise the Food I ordered was Fresh and absolutely cooked to perfection it's been a long time for me to find a place my Wife and I can go out and have Date Night together and have Dinner that was amazing well cooked flavours just Explode leaving you wanting More. The Chef has many years of Cooking Experience and it shows too when you sit down and order Dinner. For my Wife and Me when we have Date Nights we now go to Athena's Bar Grill not only is the Food Amassing and good But the New Staff are Wonderful People I can only Hope you will have a chance to go to Mission Bc bring your wife or your Date you won't leave there Disappointed amassing Food Wonderful Staff keeps me returning there for more. I moved to Surrey 2 years ago and just couldn't find any restaurant that served good old fashion home cooked greasy spoon diner fare. I spotted Round-Up Cafe on a drive by and decided to pull over and try it out. They refurbished the chairs to a fabulous sparkly silver. It is cozy and comfy and very clean and the owners are extremely friendly. I ordered a soup for my toddler and a special for myself. I was surprised the special came with a soup and a desert which was nice for $12. Coffee is $2.10 and they only charge once and are excellent with refills. Food was 'just like grandma used to make' very tasty. Soup was a bit to peppery for my taste buds. My main was excellent but if you don't want gravy, you need to order it on the side or they pour it on. Coffee was excellent. My son loved the vanilla pudding - another unexpected surprise. The restaurant was packed at lunch on a weekday. This is a restaurant I would recommend Grandad to visit. Nice old fashion 1940s diner feel with good home cooking. Lire plus

I visited Dakota's a while back with friends and family. I was very suprised at how wonderful my dishes were. I loved the restaurant layout and overall appearance. Very neat building. I wasn't particularly happy with the service as I found our young waitress quite gruff with us. I think for the restaurant being fairly slow at the time she could have provided more cheerful service. Luckily the service saved face a few weeks ago when I went in for a few beers after work. I had a new employee, brenden serving me. He was a really great guy and we talked for over half an hour.
