Easily the best place for Chinese in Surrey - or anywhere else for that matter. We've never eaten in, although we've done both take out and delivery. The delivery is amazingly fast... usually less than 20 minutes, and piping hot and fresh! The portions are very generous! Take out, the service was great, really fast and friendly. I was skeptical at first because they ranked so high in reviews and this place was located in Delta/Surrey but I must say I was really impressed. I think Ive been to all the Japanese restaurants along the Westcoast and Akari is absolutely top notch. Their black rice specialty rolls and tempura were especially memorable. The owner told me they have a tempura master who have been making tempura for 20 years! Ill definitely be back with my family and friends. Lire plus

I had a fantastic dinner here with my friends! The double dragon roll and spicy salmon sashimi were so good and I loved eating every piece. They also have some fantastic affordable combos as well. We stuffed ourselves with so much food that covered the entire table but the bill was still affordable. Servers were fairly busy but still polite.
