My sister brought...

My sister brought in my mother with dementia today. It was her first outing since we were forced to put her in a home. The two stylists who helped my mother were so incredibly kind that it brought my sister to tears. Without a big explanation, they just understood. They made my mothers ( thus the entire family's ) day a good one. Can't thank them enough.

20 minutes I'll NEVER get back

First, I should have gone with my gut when I made my appointment. I walked in and a lady with red hair took my information without even a hint of a smile, she seemed quite irritable. But, I went with it. Then I returned for my appointment 5 minutes early. I was assured at the time that this red headed lady would be done with her previous client soon. 20 minutes later, still waiting, still no hint of a smile or any interaction with her current client, so I got up and left, and I'll never go back. Smile for goodness sakes!

Too Bad So Sad !!

I was just out running errands. I usually have my hair cut at my favourite gal at a different salon, but as she was booked up for two weeks and I was leaving town in two days, I though I would go into your Ladysmith location as it was absolutely deads-ville and I was right there, so I thought I would give "Island Haircutters" ANOTHER try. I am so sorry I went in there. ( Although I did purchase the shampoo I needed. ) I just wanted the ends of my hair tidied up. Ha. I came home and had to tidy them up myself. The gal who trimmed my hair had NO clue. Washed my hair and barely touched my head. She was trying to trim my hair with no conditioner on it and the comb was tugging at my hair. She was just all over the map. Had NO idea of what she was doing! The ends of my hair are more uneven now than when I went in. I am NOW in the process of cutting it myself. She did however say “If you have any problems, just come on back down" HA, not a chance!!!. I will never ever go back into that place. I will also tell everyone about my third time try! Another Unsatisfied Customer.
