My fave fish and chips place! I've tried tried a couple of places in Toronto but this one for me has been the best. The crowd here generally is seniors. Food and service is great. I always get halibut for fish and chips. They make it nice and crispy, tastes fresh, and not too oily. The chips r fresh and filling. My friends enjoyed the food too when I take them. Lire plus

This was our first visit. Staff are pleasant and friendly, not to mention patient and helpful. Prices are very reasonable and the fish was quite good, not greasy and the fries were excellent. I moved from Unionville to Newmarket two years ago. I still make a monthly pilgrimage to Mr Fish and Chips because I haven't found anything remotely comparable from here to Vaughan. The fish batter is light and flaky. Their chips are good, but the potato fritters (my personal favourite) are lip-smacking goodness. The eat-in area is pretty basic. We have been here two times for dinner. The atmosphere is good, but a bit tight space to sit. The service is great and fast. The portions were big and the deal it, that you get a complementary delicious set of eggplant dips with bread. The food we had was very tasty and good. I don't recall the menus we had, but I recall that we liked it. All in all a pretty good food with the nice idea of the free appetizers. Always good to just hop in for a good spontaneous dinner. This is the best fish and chips that I've ever tried in Toronto. (I went there on the advice of a friend and would have never have gone here without that recommendation). I came on good friday april 19,2019. I had the new orleans salmon with baked potato with butter and sour cream and rice. Was absolutely amazing taste and cooked perfect. It came with diced tomatoes and cilatro with some shrimp in like a cajun butter sauce. With those delicious biscuits they famous for and i even had a side ceasar salad.
